The Company

Our client is a National Australian transport and logistics company that has been operating for almost 50 years. They have great, modern offices and is located in Surry Hills close to public transport

The Role
As an Accounts Officer your duties will include but not be limited to: 
  • Debtor invoice generation, receipting, debt collection and reporting
  • Creditor data entry, reconciliations and payments
  • Attending to account queries
  • Bank and other reconciliations
  • Perform customer billing via agreed rate cards.
  • Other financial and administrative support as required
Requirements/Essential Criteria 
  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in an accounts role
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting
  • Logistics/Transport experience
  • Good analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and look-ups), Word and PowerPoint
  • Flexible, adaptable and quick learner
  • Ablility to summarise and present the results of analysing large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner
  • Good time management and ability to multi- task
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of working autonomously
