With 40 stores nation-wide and a strong, online presence, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable/Assistant Accountant to join the finance team and support the growth of this dynamic company.
The Role
As an Accounts Payable/Assistant Accountant, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Entering invoices into the system
- Weekly management of local and overseas supplier invoices
- Weekly calculations for payroll
- Preparation of wage percentages and weekly sales reports
- Month end tasks and reporting
- Posting all supplier invoices - arrange overseas and local payments
- Processing reconciliations
- Location: St Peters
- Hours: Part- time 25 hours a week across 4 days
- Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + superannuation (pro rata)
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3+ years as an Accounts Payable
- Proven payroll experience in a retail environment (with excellent understanding of the award)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills - Pivot Tables and VLookup a must
- Experience with stock and PO matching
- Exposure to a wholesale/retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced environment and balancing competing tasks
- M3 System experience advantageous
- Completed or studying towards CPA is desirable
