Job Description
Our client is an Australian public offer industry superannuation fund and has a large industry member base. They pride themselves on their member-focused approach and continue to be one of the most reputable funds on the market. They are seeking a Claims or Dispute Specialist in the Death Claims Team to assist with their growth and maintain their reputation.
The Role:
As a Claims Dispute Specialist within the Death Claims Team your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Review the death claims case files
- Prepare reasons letter for decisions, in line with approved templates
- Review and approvals of the reasons letter
- Empathetic handling of any complainant interaction (written & telephonic)
- Administrative support for any further external review carried out
- Salary: $30-$45/hour + Superannuation (Depending on experience)
- Location: Sydney CBD but working from home initially
- Contract: This is a temporary/contract role for a minimum of 3 months with the potential to extend
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience working with death claims or claims disputes experience within life insurance or superannuation
- Basic knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements for complaint resolution
- Experience in handling complaints highly desirable
- RG146 or other superannuation certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
