As a Reinsurance Claims Officer, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for all claims notifications and the basic or commercial check of data.
- Process inwards claims transactions.
- Generate reports and support senior members.
- Create new claims in the system.
- Be able to make efficient and accurate claims payments.
- Liaise with Claims Manager and Underwriters for various claims, as well as Reinsurance Technical Accountants.
- Understanding of Excel and VBA formulaes is a must
- Insurance, Reinsurance or Accounting experience is essential
- Ability to interpret data and explain analysis
- Ability to multitask and work well in a pressured environment
- Work both independently and as a team
