Our client is seeking motivated individuals to come join their Accident & Health claims examiner team. There are two roles currently available. Both roles are based in North Sydney that offers 2 days WFH each week and an excellent work culture. - Prime office location and facilities in North Sydney.
- Manage a portfolio of Accident & Health claims from assessment through to settlement.
- Conduct timely investigations to determine coverage, which may include working with fraud specialists and/or independent doctors.
- Policy wording interpretation to confirm applicable benefits
- Claim file management; file noting, financial reserving, document management.
- Direct contact with brokers, including communication specific to claim requirements, status and outcomes.
- Providing support and advice to policy holders, including some specific account management (depending on policy holder)
- Communication with stakeholders as necessary.
- Science, allied health or medical background/qualifications are highly considered;
- Accident & Health claims experience is beneficial but not essential, this includes travel claims experience
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Self-managed with exceptional time management

- High attention to detail with sound decision-making ability
