Our client is an Australian based insurance brokerage with a large team based out of Melbourne. They are currently looking for a customer service officer to help with the growth of the service ream across the brokerage. This is an extremely dynamic role in the internal team where they are looking for a candidate to help with the renewal process with existing clients and also win new business and identify new risks with new clients.
  
We are looking to have conversations with candidates at a high level who understand the insurance space and are passionate about this industry. Ideally with some level of experience with a brokerage, and a candidate who demonstrates positivity, reliability, and willingness to learn and develop.  
  
The Role:
As a customer service officer your role and day-to-day will look like:
  • Resolving customer queries either via call or the online chat platform and coming up with an on-the-spot resolution.
  • Service existing clients and ensure they are retained through detailed communication.
  • Maintain and provide clients with up-to-date knowledge of the industry, products, policy and process knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other team members to effectively resolve client requests and needs.
  • Have an understanding and be able to discuss both internally and with clients compliance, legislative and regulatory requirements.
