The Role
  • Investigate, research and collate financial, statistical and other information for inclusion in detailed reports
  • Conduct risk profiling and pre loss reviews and reports
  • Undertake financial analysis for quantification of damages/losses and extrapolation of data
  • Research and analyse specific industries/organisations, identify issues and draw conclusions
  • Prepare, negotiate and settle business interruption and property damage claims
  • Assist in preparing reports on findings
  • Communicate and liaise with insurance brokers within the company and to external clients
  • Work with internal stakeholders and account managers to develop solutions and provide exceptional service
  • Support clients and provide advice in respect to their losses
You will have
  • A relevant degree and CA/CPA qualification or near completion
  • Over 2 years experience in a similar field, i.e. Financial Accounting, forensic accounting, Auditing or Insurance
  • Experience in the preparation of economic loss assessments, business interruption insurance claims, litigation support, fraud investigation or forensic accounting would be highly regarded
  • The ability to analyse Profit and Loss statements and conduct financial modelling and trend analysis
  • Experience within the Insurance Industry is an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and time management
  • Advanced Excel and report writing skills
  • Possess exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships.
