  • Competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + super pending on experience (with a bonus attached), 12% super and multiple lifestyle grants.

 Your New Role

As a Graduate/Financial Accountant you will be joining a tight knit and collaborative team and will be responsible for onshore accounting matters relating to the operation and service of the company. Your responsibilities include:
  • Assist the finance team by allocating premium collections, resolving enquires, expediting collections/reducing aged receivables, preparing credit reports, process monthly supplier/employee payments.
  • Ensure all internal technical reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner, prepare ledger entries in relation to expenses, accruals, cash, premiums etc
  • Compile and prepare BAS submissions for the ATO (quarterly)
  • Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders globally (Aus, London, Singapore etc).
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required.

What you’ll need to succeed  
  
  • Experience/an understanding of the insurance industry is highly desirable – suitable for a recent graduate who is hungry and keen to develop long term within the insurance space.
  • CPA/CA Qualification (or part qualified/has the intention of starting)
  • Good excel skills and previous experience with different ERP software’s.
  • Proactive, ‘can do’ attitude – detail oriented and keen to refine and develop their foundational skills.
