They operate in 40 major countries and is one of the top two merchants in coffee.
The Role
As a Financial Controller, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Managing the year end statutory reporting audit
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Meeting parent entity reporting requirements including management of the monthly accounting close
- Cash flow management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Stakeholder management
- Debt management and collection
- Preparing company tax returns, BAS statements, FBT returns & payroll tax returns
- Payroll Processing
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Mentoring & management of the finance team
- Location: Alexandria
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 package (negotiable depending on experience)
To be successful in this role you will have:
- +5 yrs post CPA/CA qualified experience senior accounting and finance position
- Experience in managing finance teams
- Demonstrated well-developed leadership skills
- Knowledge of commodities trading and market to market accounting concepts
- Exposure to accounting for multiple currencies
- Strong communication skills
