Job Description

The Company 

My Client is a well respected brand who have just created an exciting new Health & Well-being Team. The Senior Directors are fully on board with driving preventative initiatives to avoid injuries at work.  You'll be given job security with this company being backed by a larger international brand and you'll enjoy the benefits of working for a household name.


The New Role

My client is looking looking for an Allied Health professional who is super enthusiastic about health and who can drive a positive health culture across the business.  You will come up with health & well-being initiatives, as well as monitor the aftermath of any injuries that do take place, with the already in place robust return-to-work procedures.  The role is initially an 18 month contract with the potential to go permanent.


Duties:
  • Promote health & well-being to avoid injuries and increase productivity
  • Immerse yourself in the business and learn what makes people tick
  • Educate the business on health & well-being - focus on engagement
  • Work closely with your team to come up with health ideas
  • Bring health ideas to life by organizing logistics of how it will work
  • Provide practical assistance to managers with injuries that do happen
  • Assist managers with incident recording, taking employees to GP etc
  • Facilitate return-to-work process by lodging claims paperwork and keeping on top of administration

About You

You absolutely must have:
  • An Allied Health tertiary qualification (please do not apply if you don't)
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm towards health
  • Ideally some experience in corporate health/ employer direct
  • If not, a strong passion for promoting a healthy work force 
  • Outstanding communication skills - ability to build rapport with both blue and white collar workers
  • This role would suit a junior Allied Health professional looking to use their skills outside of treatment
