- Receive a renumeration of $80,000 - $83,000 + super.
Your New Role
As a payroll officer, you will be reporting into the national payroll manager and working with a team of 8 officers. The role is primarily responsible the day-to-day processing of the organisations payroll and administrative duties surrounding this. You will:
- Execute and distribute end-end payroll for 500 staff members on a weekly basis using Meridian and Kronos (for time and attendance)
- Maintain the payroll inbox and ensure prompt response to inquiries.
- Interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements to ensure that employees are paid correctly.
- Meet reporting and payment deadlines, including month end and end of financial year.
- Onboard new starters into the payroll system.
- Preparation of manual payroll adjustments and payments (E-pays), including termination payments. Provision of appropriate payroll data for reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required, including delivery of KPI’s.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and at year end
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
What you’ll need to succeed
- 1- 2 years of end-end payroll experience
- A proactive, detail oriented and administrative focused outlook
- Previous end-end payroll experience, preferably processing pay for over 200 employees.
- Be a fast learner and team player
- Ideally need access to a vehicle as public transport is limited.
