Job Description
- Be an effective business partner to the Payroll services team, acting as the first point of call for anything payroll systems related, recommending and managing any actions to completion
- Manage the multiple Payroll and time and attendance systems including ongoing configuration within Affinity and Kronos
- Perform detailed reconciliations for legislative requirements including payroll tax, group tax, yearend payment summaries and workers compensation provisions
- Drive, develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement with regards to existing systems and payroll
- Manage the superannuation fund provider ensuring all members' contributions are set-up accurately
- Manage payment of all payroll associated deductions
- Provide support on leave liability matters and provide the business with detailed explanations on movements
- Finance or Accounting qualification
- Advanced excel skills with experience in macro writing, spreadsheet modelling, database and reporting applications
- Extensive Payroll knowledge and Time & Attendance experience
- Implementation and configuration experience
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Strong planning & time management skills
