Job Description
Key responsibilities of the role include yet are not limited to:
- Develop and retain strong working relationship with the client.
- Understand pricing programs and communicating to customers.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to generate sales.
- Educate internal sales staff of customer price list as well as manage and execute internal sales training.
- Manage client profit margins and rebates.
- Achieving company targets end to end.
- Forecasting sales/pipeline to the business and formulate gap plans.
- Ordering and forecasting stock.
- Managing weeks of inventory and aged/obsolescence.
- Proactively work with key customers to generate repeat business.
- Proactively work with internal sales/BDM’s/stakeholders to drive new business/opportunities.
- Analysis of company projections and forecasts of the business.
- Previous experience in servers, devices, storage, channel, distribution etc.
- Strong marketing / sales / product management experience.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Proven implementation of process improvements.
- Sound problem solving ability.
