They are seeking a professional Reinsurance Accountant to join their successful organisation to support the Australia and New Zealand policy landscape. The role is based in North Sydney and offers 2 days WFH each week.

The Role:
Working with the Reinsurance team your role will include but not be restricted to:

• Overseeing the treaty reinsurance process
• Overseeing the validation of Quota Share bookings 
• Variance analysis and interpretation 
• Implementing process improvements and utilising automation processes to improve workflow 
• Managing the forecasting and annual planning 
• Stakeholder management, liaising and working with managers across the business 

About You: 

• Prior experience working in reinsurance
• Accounting or Finance qualification 
• Advanced level Excel ability 
• Experience working with variance analysis and reporting preferred 
• Prior experience with TM1 highly regarded but not mandatory 
• An ability to use analytics to improve processes and solve problems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
