Job description

Our Client is one of the world's leading providers of business-to-business express delivery services, and their Return to Work team are now seeking a Coordinator to join the team in assisting with effective support following workplace injuries.
The Return to Work Coordinator will provide assistance in the provision of Early Care, promoting and driving health and wellbeing initiatives in the depot and wider region, and playing a key role in the provision of injury management early intervention, return to work and rehabilitation services to injured workers.
  • Contact all newly injured workers in region within one working day from the injury being reported
  • Assist the team with the establishment of rehabilitation needs and potential for return to work for injured employees
  • Support the administration and coordination of workers compensation pay entitlements and work with the workers compensation team to ensure injured employees are paid correctly
  • Work with depot management and other relevant stakeholders, to plan, coordinate and deliver agreed Wellbeing initiatives
  • Administrative duties associated with Early Care and workers compensation claims
  • Participate in workplace health and wellbeing activities
  • Assist with injury management systems audits and implementation of corrective actions and review
About you:
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm for workplace health promotion and return to work
  • Return to work coordination or injury management experience desirable
  • Outstanding communication skills along with an ability to negotiate, counsel and problem solve
  • First Aid qualification and drivers’ license / car desirable
  • Qualifications within a relevant discipline desirable, preferably allied health desirable but not essential
