The Role
  • Managing and assessing a small portfolio of Group claims
  • Execution of key projects and reviews
  • Provide mentoring and training to the team of Claims Assessors
  • Act as a reference point for technical or escalated claims
  • Sign off on large-sum claim decisions
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Initiate claims investigations 
About You
  • Proven Claims Assessor experience within the Life Insurance space
  • Strong technical understanding of the Life Insurance market and products
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel and software packages 
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills
  • Ability to provide guidance and direction to teams and individuals
  • Capable of inspiring, encouraging and empowering others
