Job Description

The role:

My client are seeking an experienced consultant who has an extensive insurance and accounting background and has been exposed to a wide variety of industries. The service line provides a range of specialist services primarily in business interruption claims but may also include other economic loss, forensic accounting and financial analysis services.

  • Prepare, negotiate and settle business interruption claim and material damage claims from causes such as natural disasters, fires and theft
  • Analysing, interpreting and collating information in support of claims
  • Undertake financial analysis for quantification of damages/losses
  • Determining risk management solutions by the provision of pre loss business interruption analysis
  • Liaise with all stakeholders and levels within the process including clients, brokers, loss adjusters, lawyers and insurance companies
  • Administration such as invoicing management and assisting with WIP 

You will have:
  • Insurance claims experience in property and business interruption claims is essential
  • A degree in accounting or finance 
  • Relevant Business Interruption experience either in Claim Preparation/Loss adjusting 
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to achieve solutions
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Personable and outgoing with an ability to work well under pressure on multiple projects
  • Possess exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships.
