The core function of the Service Delivery Manager is to manage the Operations Team, maintain a high quality and standard of customer service, deliver long term efficiency, and to drive profitable growth in the business area. The role can be broken down to 4 key areas of focus - people, customers, processes and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership for the Telstra Delivery Team including training, mentoring, defining and demonstrating the desired behaviors and skills
  • Identify opportunities to develop new, and enhance existing, service offerings across the Telstra Services business
  • Review, refine, implement and maintain clear and documented internal processes and systems to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, flexible and profitable delivery within the business
  • Determine, measure and communicate, both internally and externally, an agreed set of Service Level Objectives to demonstrate customer focus and high levels of capability
  • Develop a culture of delivering a great “Customer Experience”

Requirements:
  • Previous position held at Telstra with the knowledge of the Telstra products
  • Experience with Telstra systems including Telstra Partner Central, Retail Live, CSSA and TESA
  • Knowledge in IP delivery is a must
  • Previous managing experience of 2+ years
  • Solid understanding of a Service Delivery environment
  • Exposure to business process improvement initiatives
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level managerial skills and experience with ability to focus and lead team members
