The Position:
As a Life Claims Assessor in the Retail Claims team, you can expect to be performing the following tasks:
- Managing and assessing a portfolio of Retail TPD claims;
- Day to day liaison with doctors, rehabilitation providers, legal professionals and advisers;
- Initiating claims investigations;
- Requesting medical and financial information;
- Making claim decisions according to your a authority level.
About You:
You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in the legal field;
- 2 years experience with Total and Permanent Disability [TPD], Income Protection [IP], Personal Injury, CTP or Workers Compensation cases;
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail;
- Most importantly, you must have a genuine interest in moving into Life Insurance.
