Job Description
My Client is a well known brand in the Australian Market. They have a progressive and forward-thinking approach, and as a result, have achieved significant growth throughout the Australian market. Due to internal promotion, they have an opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant to join their team.
The Position
- Proactively engage with underwriting to ensure smooth account hand over.
- Process new business, endorsements and renewals and the associated administrative tasks.
- Develop an internal network to facilitate work flow for underwriters and clients.
- Develop expert level knowledge.
- Act as integral point of contact when questions arise or uncertainties exist.
The Ideal Candidate
- Sound understanding of the insurance market
- At least 2 years' proven experience in underwriting products
- Fantastic work ethic and a willing-to-learn attitude
- Strong attention to detail
