A client of mine, part of a highly respected national broking network, is seeking an experienced professional to join their Corporate Recovery, Turnaround & Insolvency division. This organisation also provides General Lines insurance solutions and supports clients across corporate, commercial and SME sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering Corporate Recovery, Turnaround & Insolvency services. This includes handling formal appointments, supporting client decision-making, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance across all activities.
This position suits someone analytical, confident, client‑focused, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities Corporate Recovery, Turnaround & Insolvency
- Conduct onsite assessments and inspections when required
- Undertake risk and exposure reviews for each appointment
- Review valuations, appointments documentation, and pre‑appointment insurance programs
- Prepare high‑quality reports with findings and recommendations
- Obtain terms via platforms such as Sunrise, Workbench, cChange, iAdviser (IAA), etc.
- Negotiate and place insurance covers with Facility and Non‑Facility Insurers, including Workers Compensation
- Manage compliance needs including WH&S and Environmental documentation
- Review premium funding contracts and liaise with clients and funders
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date status reporting
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and underwriters
- Credit control and revenue optimisation
- Attend training sessions, industry events and relevant functions
- Assist with staff supervision, training and performance reviews when required
- Ensure compliance with FSRA, codes of practice and relevant industry legislation
- Promote the client’s services across the broking network
- Complete invoicing in collaboration with offshore administrative support
- Has experience in insolvency, corporate recovery, turnaround services, or general insurance
- Enjoys analysing risk and commercial exposures
- Is comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment
