Our client is seeking an experienced Claims Case Manager to join its insurance team on a 12 month assignment. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on fair outcomes and clear communication with members and their families.
The Role
As a Claims Case Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution
- Handling complex matters including terminal illness, death and other sensitive claims
- Reviewing medical information and insurer decisions to support sound outcomes
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external insurers to progress claims
- Providing timely updates and guidance to members and their families
- Meeting service standards and maintaining accurate, compliant documentation

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in superannuation or life insurance claims
- Strong background across death, TPD, terminal illness or other complex claims
- Confidence reviewing medical evidence and insurer recommendations
- Clear, empathetic communication skills and a steady approach under pressure
- Solid time management and the ability to manage deadlines and a steady caseload
