The Role
- Review complex KYC, CDD and remediation activities completed by analysts
- Assess alerts and escalations, providing clear risk-based recommendations
- Coach and guide analysts through constructive feedback and technical support
- Maintain and update CDD procedures, checklists, controls and process documentation
- Support the rollout of new AML, KYC and operational initiatives across the team
- Partner with Financial Crimes Compliance, Client Operations and other key stakeholders
- Contribute to audits, controls testing, reporting and regulatory review activities
- Translate regulatory and policy changes into practical BAU processes
- Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience across KYC, CDD, AML or financial crime operations
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Australian AML/CTF requirements and customer due diligence obligations
- Show experience reviewing complex cases, handling escalations and providing feedback to analysts
- Communicate confidently with stakeholders and apply sound judgement to risk-based decisions
- Bring experience from a major bank, financial institution or complex remediation environment
- Demonstrate experience writing or updating policies, procedures, controls or operational guidance
- Earn $75 to $90 per hour plus super
- Join a 12-month assignment with an immediate start
- Operate as a trusted CDD subject matter expert
- Help shape procedures and prepare the team for upcoming AML regulatory changes
- Work closely with experienced financial crime and client operations stakeholders
