The Role
- Perform day-to-day client due diligence activities including onboarding, periodic reviews, and KYC refresh.
- Support high-risk customer assessments and manage escalations related to Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify and report suspicious activity.
- Collect and review complex client documentation to ensure total accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the customer offboarding process to ensure a positive experience while meeting exit requirements.
- Maintain and update detailed client records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Identify and escalate unusual activity or exceptions to senior management in a timely manner.
- Minimum 1 year of AML or KYC experience within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven ability to follow complex procedures precisely with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder queries.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or experience with Transaction Monitoring.
- Secure a long-term 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of permanent extension.
- Develop specialized skills across both CDD and Financial Crime Detection functions.
