The Company

Our client is a well-regarded financial services organization recognized for its high compliance standards and robust governance framework. They offer a collaborative environment within their Financial Crime Operations division, focusing on the detection and mitigation of global financial risks.

The Role
  • Perform day-to-day client due diligence activities including onboarding, periodic reviews, and KYC refresh.
  • Support high-risk customer assessments and manage escalations related to Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
  • Investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify and report suspicious activity.
  • Collect and review complex client documentation to ensure total accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the customer offboarding process to ensure a positive experience while meeting exit requirements.
  • Maintain and update detailed client records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and escalate unusual activity or exceptions to senior management in a timely manner.
About You
  • Minimum 1 year of AML or KYC experience within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proven ability to follow complex procedures precisely with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder queries.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Highly regarded (but not essential)
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or experience with Transaction Monitoring.
