Our client, a well-established financial services organisation, is seeking a Mortgage Service Centre Consultant to join their Home Ownership Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys working in a structured environment and wants to develop their knowledge of home lending and mortgage operations.
The Role
Working within a high-performing contact centre team, you will be the first point of contact for brokers, bankers, solicitors and customers, providing support throughout the home loan journey.
Responsibilities will include:
- Taking inbound calls relating to home loan applications and mortgage enquiries
- Providing updates on application progress and settlement status
- Assisting with post-approval and servicing enquiries
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries
- Troubleshooting issues and ensuring customers receive accurate information
- Maintaining compliance with privacy and identification requirements
- Delivering exceptional customer service while meeting service level targets
- Building strong relationships with brokers, lenders, solicitors and internal teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes
- Hybrid (2 days WFH)
- Salary $70-80K+super ( 37.5 Hours per week)
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, banking or financial services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
