The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a global organisation with a strong presence in the market and a highly collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Manage PAYG withholding, superannuation, and other statutory obligations
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
  • Interpret awards, EBAs, and employment contracts
  • Respond to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reconcile payroll reports and support month-end processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
About You
  • Previous experience in a payroll position (end-to-end preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
  • Experience interpreting awards and EBAs (highly regarded)
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Communication skills and ability to liaise across teams
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
