Are you an experienced SharePoint professional looking to take ownership of a business-critical migration project?

We're partnering with a highly regarded financial services organisation based in North Sydney, seeking a technically savvy SharePoint Administrator to lead and drive a major document migration project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team, work closely with senior stakeholders, and play a key role in ensuring a successful migration.

Unlike a typical administration role, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of the project, challenge processes, identify issues, and work proactively to deliver the best outcome.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the migration of documents from legacy network drives and existing SharePoint environments into a new SharePoint structure.

Working alongside the organisation's MSP, you will act as the internal SharePoint expert, ensuring migrations are completed correctly, tested thoroughly, and adopted successfully across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and coordinate the SharePoint migration project from an internal stakeholder perspective
  • Manage migration activities from network drives to SharePoint and SharePoint-to-SharePoint environments
  • Review folder structures, permissions, and governance frameworks
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance checks post-migration
  • Identify issues, gaps, and improvement opportunities and coordinate remediation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders throughout the migration process
  • Provide user training and support before and after migration
  • Deliver guidance on SharePoint navigation, document management, and Teams integration
  • Communicate project updates and recommendations to stakeholders
About You To be successful, you'll bring:
  • Minimum 3-4 years' SharePoint administration experience
  • Previous experience working on SharePoint admin or implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online
  • Experience migrating content from network drives and legacy SharePoint sites
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Project coordination or project management experience highly regarded
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
What's on Offer?
  • Immediate start available
  • 3-month contract with strong potential for extension
  • North Sydney location with stunning harbour views
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to make a genuine impact on a high-profile project
  • Hybrid working arrangement
If you're a hands-on SharePoint professional who enjoys driving projects, solving problems, and working closely with stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
