The Role
This is a hands-on commercial governance role connecting Technology, Procurement and Finance. You will oversee the controls and processes that take supplier engagements from contract approval through to purchase orders, receipting and financial reporting.
- Coordinate contract execution for strategic and critical technology suppliers
- Validate funding, budget approvals, cost centres and financial coding before commitments are made
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receipting and invoice exceptions across the supplier lifecycle
- Monitor supplier commitments, budget utilisation, forecasts and potential financial risks
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable, Risk and technology stakeholders
- Produce dashboards and governance reporting covering supplier spend, contract commitments and purchase-order performance
- Improve commercial procedures, reporting, controls, automation and stakeholder capability
- Bring at least five years of experience in technology commercial management, procurement operations, contract governance or a closely related position
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receipting and supplier contracts
- Apply strong budgeting, forecasting, committed-spend and financial-control capability
- Influence senior stakeholders across Technology, Procurement, Finance and Legal while managing competing deadlines
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Power BI, regulated financial services or superannuation
