My client is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their Strata Claims team. In this role, you will manage property claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing while providing outstanding service to clients and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain property and strata claims in line with company procedures and compliance standards
- Assess claim notifications and determine policy coverage
- Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, assessors, and repairers
- Negotiate settlements and ensure prompt payments to clients
- Prepare claims documentation and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to team goals and uphold company values
- Minimum 3 years managing property claims, preferably strata claims within a brokerage but open to candidates from insurers also
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy interpretation, and claims processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
