My client is seeking an experienced claims professional to lead their claims function and play a key role within their leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly proficient claims professional who enjoys achieving outstanding outcomes for clients while contributing to business strategy and growth.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will oversee a small team consisting of an experienced Sydney-based claims professional and dedicated offshore support. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical claims management with team leadership and strategic input.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex general insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement
- Advocate for clients and drive optimal claims outcomes
- Lead, mentor and support team members
- Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and service providers
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee workflows
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to business growth initiatives
About You
- Strong experience managing general insurance claims
- Brokerage experience preferred, however candidates who come an insurer background will also be considered
- Technical expertise across a range of general insurance products
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Strong leadership capability and a collaborative approach
- Driven, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service
What's on Offer?
- Offering salary between $130,000 - $150,000 inclusive of Super
- Hybrid working arrangements - 2 days WFH
