In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to unpack complex policy wordings, contribute to market-leading insurance solutions, and support initiatives that respond to emerging risks. You will work closely with insurers, brokers, and clients to deliver high-quality technical guidance and support the development of bespoke insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert across multiple insurance classes, including property, general liability, motor, construction, and financial lines
- Provide technical input into business initiatives, tenders, and growth opportunities
- Develop, lead, and refine manuscript wordings and bespoke insurer endorsements
- Review and interpret insurer policy wordings and draft client-specific solutions where required
- Act as an escalation point for complex contract and policy interpretation queries
- Build and maintain governance frameworks for insurance product development
- Leverage claims and contract performance insights to produce briefing papers and thought leadership content
- Deliver technical training and capability uplift across teams
- Collaborate with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders on policy interpretation and product innovation
- 3+ years’ experience in insurance claims, underwriting, product development, legal, or technical advisory roles
- Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings and contract interpretation
- Degree qualified, ideally in Law or a related discipline
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively across multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
