The Company
A mid sized Melbourne law firm with a strong property practice is seeking an experienced Property Law Clerk to join a high performing team. You will work in a structured environment with clear processes, supportive leaders and quality work across residential and commercial matters.

The Role
  • As a Property Law Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing end to end property files across acquisitions and sales for residential and commercial matters
  • Handling development and conveyancing work, including off the plan and Greenfields projects
  • Preparing and reviewing leasing and stamp duty documentation, and coordinating interstate matters for NSW and QLD
  • Managing PEXA tasks and settlement workflows, conducting company and title searches, and ensuring accurate file management
  • Using practice and document management systems such as iManage, Affinity and Smokeball to maintain records and billing
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders, tracking milestones and meeting deadlines
You
  • To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Property Law Clerk managing end to end files in a law firm environment
  • Strong working knowledge of PEXA and confidence with title, company and property searches
  • Proficiency with legal systems such as iManage, Affinity or similar, and accurate billing and time recording
  • Excellent written communication, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A proactive, team focused approach with the ability to manage competing deadlines
