Kennedy Reid is partnering with a leading national law firm, to appoint an experienced Office Manager into their Sydney office. This is a high-impact role, responsible for ensuring the office operates smoothly day-to-day and providing trusted operational support to Partners and staff.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll take ownership of office operations and lead a team of 7 within the Sydney office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and managing the administration team
- Overseeing office budgets and expenditure (stationery, catering, petty cash, cab charges)
- Managing and coordinating requests from Partners and staff, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Liaising with building management and external vendors/suppliers
- Coordinating events and internal firm initiatives
- Running new starter inductions and coordinating office moves
- Supporting ISO27001 audit processes and ongoing compliance requirements
- Driving process improvements to lift efficiency and service delivery
- General office management and administration as required
You’re an experienced Office Manager who thrives in professional services environments and enjoys being the go-to person who keeps everything running.
To be successful, you will have:
- 3+ years’ experience as an Office Manager (professional services ideal – legal, accounting, consulting, financial services)
- Proven experience leading a team
- Excellent stakeholder management (confident engaging with senior leaders/Partners)
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working autonomously, solving problems, and improving processes
- Exposure to compliance frameworks/audits (ISO27001 exposure ideal, not essential)
