We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Officer
on a temporary basis (4-6 weeks with the possibility to extend) to join a collaborative and supportive payroll team of three. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring award compliance, accurate payroll delivery and providing advice to People & Culture and employees.

- Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with Modern Awards, legislation, and tax obligations (PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax)
- Maintain employee records, manage leave entitlements, and process onboarding/terminations
- Conduct reconciliations, reporting, and identify any payroll discrepancies or underpayments
- Partner with People & Culture and Finance teams to provide payroll advice and support
- 3+ years payroll experience with strong knowledge of Australian Modern Awards
- High level Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, index match, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Confident communicator who can clearly present findings and advice
- Experience with Workday is a plus, but not essential
