About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager (Financial Lines) , you will take full responsibility for a portfolio across new business, renewals, endorsements, debtors, reports and client management. You will deliver high-level advice, technical support and a market-leading service experience to clients while contributing to strategy, growth, and operational excellence.
You will also work closely with Claims and Technical staff to ensure clients receive outstanding support and timely claims resolution.
  
Key Responsibilities
Broking & Client Management
  • Manage a Financial Lines portfolio including new business, renewals, quotes, endorsements, cancellations and debtors
  • Conduct strategic portfolio reviews and identify growth opportunities
  • Support the Account Director with forecasting, sales plans and delivery of revenue targets
  • Provide exceptional service and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Maintain deep understanding of client needs and proactively suggest product solutions
  • Secure new business and drive strong retention results
  • Stay current with market trends, insurer appetite and industry changes
  • Develop and maintain strong networks with insurers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Claims to ensure prompt and accurate handling of Financial Lines claims
  • Review financial statements to assess client risk and coverage needs
Operations & Compliance
  • Manage compliance requirements to an exceptional standard
  • Ensure legislative and regulatory obligations are adhered to
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, reports and client files
  • Support the Account Director with escalations and complex client needs
  • Participate in business continuity planning and company projects
  • Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members


Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years’ experience as an Account Manager in Financial Lines
  • Strong commercial judgement and exceptional customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (mandatory)
  • Tertiary qualification in finance or related field (highly regarded)
