Join a dynamic insurance provider on their journey of expansion and diversification. Currently seeking an experienced Underwriting Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting underwriting activities across various lines of business.

As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be a key member of the Operations Underwriting Support team, contributing to accurate risk assessment, record-keeping, and reporting. 

The Role:
  • Provide administrative and technical support to underwriters in the assessment of new and renewal applications
  • Collect and analyse client data and documentation
  • Input and maintain accurate policy information in internal systems
  • Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to obtain missing information
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes, endorsements, and policy documents
  • Track pending applications and follow up as needed
  • Help ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and internal procedures
What You’ll Bring:
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience in general insurance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with data and software systems
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and develop in the underwriting field
