A well known organisation is seeking a WHS and Wellbeing Consultant to support a mature People and Culture function. This role acts as a true business partner, driving WHS and wellbeing outcomes across the organisation.
The Role
As a WHS and Wellbeing Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with leaders to embed WHS and wellbeing practices across corporate teams
- Leading WHS programs and initiatives, including risk assessments, reporting and continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with relevant WHS legislation, policies and standards, and preparing required reports
- Maintaining and improving WHS systems and data integrity, supporting audits and corrective actions
- Delivering training, toolbox talks and engagement activities that lift safety capability and culture
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify hazards, manage incidents and track actions to closure
- Reporting to the WHS Manager and contributing to People and Culture projects as needed
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven corporate WHS experience with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
- Experience running WHS programs and initiatives across multiple business units
- Familiarity with WHS systems and reporting, with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong stakeholder skills, clear written communication and the ability to influence outcomes
- A proactive and practical approach with sound judgment and follow through
