For years my client has been supporting individuals, families and communities through some of life’s most challenging moments. Guided by compassion, integrity and impact. 

They are now seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation & Injury Management Specialist to join their Work Health and Safety team and play a key role in supporting injured workers to recover and return to meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims, primarily within the NSW scheme
  • Coordinate recovery at work plans and suitable duties in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Support injured workers through empathetic, proactive case management
  • Conduct workplace and ergonomic assessments and recommend modifications
  • Liaise with treating practitioners, insurers and scheme agents
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and records
  • Deliver workers’ compensation and injury management training
  • Analyse injury and recovery data to support continuous improvement
About You 
You will bring:
  • Proven experience managing complex workers’ compensation claims (NSW essential)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage return-to-work barriers collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A values-driven approach aligned with Wesley Mission’s purpose
Qualifications & Experience Essential:
  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. OT, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology)
  • Completion of SIRA Return to Work Coordinator training
  • Strong working knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation scheme
