James joined Kennedy Reid in May 2025 as an Associate Director within the Insurance team, overseeing recruitment across Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
Bringing over seven years of experience with Hays in the Melbourne market, James has built a strong reputation in Insurance, Banking, and Finance recruitment. Before moving to Australia, he recruited for major global institutions including Morgan Stanley in North America and Santander Bank in the UK.
Originally from the UK, James studied Business and Finance in Newcastle before launching his recruitment career. At Kennedy Reid, he leads with energy, experience, and a people-first approach, working alongside a talented team of specialists in the Insurance and Financial Services sector.
James is passionate about helping clients, candidates, and colleagues achieve their recruitment goals, always with a positive and collaborative attitude. He embodies Kennedy Reid's values of giving back and having fun, making him a great addition to the team.
Fun fact: James is a keen golfer and a proud member of Mornington Golf Club. He’s a huge sports enthusiast and loves the variety of sports in Melbourne.
