Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, associations, and cluster/umbrella groups.
- Actively promote a suite of innovative insurance products through face-to-face meetings, webinars, PD days, expos, and conferences.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support regional growth.
- Collaborate closely with underwriting teams across multiple brands.
- Support marketing initiatives and assist in launching new products to market.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and broker needs to inform strategy.
- Monitor broker performance and implement improvements to drive success.
- Provide market intelligence feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Lead and support regional team operations.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and engagement strategies.
- Proven experience in relationship management within the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of the Queensland insurance market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to unite teams and stakeholders toward common goals.
- Solid knowledge of general insurance and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel interstate and intrastate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and responsible work ethic.
- Confident decision-maker with adaptability in dynamic environments.
