Exciting Opportunity:
Join my client as a Senior Construction Underwriter, offering expert advice and technical support within delegated authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate risk for all quotation types, underwriting new business, renewals, endorsements, and adjustments.
  • Analyze and resolve complex risks in line with underwriting guidelines.
  • Issue quotes promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain relationships with intermediaries through visits and effective communication.
  • Respond to broker inquiries professionally and within service standards.
  • Provide specialist advice on company products and services.
  • Underwrite profitable business and monitor financial performance.
  • Mentor staff on underwriting guidelines.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years' insurance industry experience or relevant degree.
  • Minimum 3 years' underwriting experience.
  • Strong administration and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear understanding of corporate objectives.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Underwriter Central, Policy Wordings, Microsoft Outlook, and more.
