The Role
As a successful Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for accounting including preparation of financial statements, variance analysis and general ledger reconciliations
- Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Allocating money to debtors, receipting funds and cash pick ups
- Assist in the preparation of the group’s forecasts and budgets
- Assist in ensuring full compliance with group policies and procedures
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Location: Sydney CBD
- Degree in Accounting
- 3 + years’ experience within a financial Services
- Experience working within the Insurance industry preferred but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge in financial accounting
- Robust analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced excel, word skills and MYOB
- GST reconciliation/BAS preparation, and assistance with other tax matters

- Excellent attention to detail
