They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Broking Assistant to join their growing team. As a Broking Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting brokers in all aspects of client service and insurance placement. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within the insurance industry or is the perfect role for someone who is experienced and looking to stay in a support style position. 

The Role:
  • Assist brokers in preparing insurance proposals, policy endorsements, and other documentation.
  • Liaise with insurance underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
You Must Have:
  • 3+ years insurance experience within an insurance brokerage 
  • Tier 1 insurance broking qualified 
  • Experience with the following products is preferred: business packs, ISR, motor, liability, corporate travel, rural, machinery. 
  • Understanding of underwriting principles. 
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills both oral and verbal, and articulate.
