About the role:

This position is the central point for managing the Accounts Receivable list, nationally. This will include key accounts of high premium value and relies upon excellent stakeholder management to be successful in the role, along with a keen eye for detail, an empathetic and highly proactive individual to engage with and monitor outstanding accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of the account receivable/reconciliations process for the Commercial teams
  • Follow-up on outstanding payments, direct debits with new and existing clients
  • Review and contact clients for overdue and appropriate set up for upcoming payments
  • Maintain up-to-date payment and banking details for clients as well as the creation of new customer files as part of
  • reconciliation process.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records and ensure records are accurately documented
  • Be the first point of contact for all client enquiries and correspondence and ensure high client satisfaction at all times
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Investigating and resolving any account or billing irregularities and payment discrepancies
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as required
  • Other duties as directed
Experience & Skills Required:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications 
  • 2 – 5 years’ Accounts Receivable experience in the in the Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to develop long term client relationships 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop and meet targets Ability to manage own work and competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
