Position Description
  
  • Liaising with customers and clients to identify their insurance needs.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products, ensuring customers are aware of all relevant options so that they are equipped to choose a policy to suit their travel needs.
  • Explaining the details of insurance policies, including coverage, premiums and benefits, to potential customers. Assisting customers in determining the appropriate type and level of coverage.
  • Calculating premiums and establishing payment methods.
  • Recording and maintaining information regarding customers and their policies.
  • Understanding and accurately conveying products and services in a compliant manner to ensure travellers have a complete understanding of their coverage.
  • Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing product information and assistance with claims and policy details.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions in CRM system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
  
Skills and Experience
  
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance or travel industry.
  • Minimum 1.5+ years' experience within the travel insurance industry 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive and go-getter attitude.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • A willingness to learn and receive feedback in a fast-paced environment.
