Position Description
- Liaising with customers and clients to identify their insurance needs.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products, ensuring customers are aware of all relevant options so that they are equipped to choose a policy to suit their travel needs.
- Explaining the details of insurance policies, including coverage, premiums and benefits, to potential customers. Assisting customers in determining the appropriate type and level of coverage.
- Calculating premiums and establishing payment methods.
- Recording and maintaining information regarding customers and their policies.
- Understanding and accurately conveying products and services in a compliant manner to ensure travellers have a complete understanding of their coverage.
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing product information and assistance with claims and policy details.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions in CRM system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
- Adhere to company guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Hours: Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance or travel industry.
- Minimum 1.5+ years' experience within the travel insurance industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, proactive and go-getter attitude.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- A willingness to learn and receive feedback in a fast-paced environment.
