Job description

Role: 
We are seeking a dedicated Internal HR Controls Analyst to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls within the organisation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Conduct regular assessments of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor control frameworks to enhance risk management and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to design and execute control improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on control assessments, including findings and recommendations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance and effectiveness of internal controls.
Experience required: 
  • Experience in internal controls, risk management, or compliance, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using risk management and auditing software/tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
