- Conduct regular assessments of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor control frameworks to enhance risk management and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to design and execute control improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on control assessments, including findings and recommendations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Experience in internal controls, risk management, or compliance, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using risk management and auditing software/tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
