Our client is a well-established brokerage, they are one of the largest family run brokerages in the market and currently growing and scaling their team across Australia. They are currently looking to appoint a Gradate as an assistant account broker to working in their sporting division. As a business they have had great success with their gradate division, giving juniors the opportunity to grow, learn and follow an exciting career path in broking. As a business they have great success in the mid-market to corporate space across all lines of insurance, this position is in their general insurance team.
Your role will be working alongside Senior Brokers in the business, supporting the sales and renewals process with clients, learning the ropes of broking, the long-term goal will be for you to have responsibility of your own portfolio in your team.

The Role:
As an Assistant Account Broker you will be reporting directly into the team leader and be required to:
- Assist the team with administration such as processing renewals and assisting with data entry, emails, phone calls with clients.
- Be involved with necessary training for the role, the company will facilitate your Tier One certificate, so actively engaging in upskilling is crucial.
- From time to time attend client meetings alongside Senior Account Managers.
Skills and Experience:
This is a great opportunity and entry into Insurance Broking for a graduate that has no experience in the space we are looking for the below:
- A great attitude, open and willing to learn and collaborate.
- Completion or close to complete a related degree for example, business, finance, law, marketing, or the likes.
- A genuine interest in insurance and desire to become a broker.
