Job description

Our client is a reputable and rapidly expanding ASX listed company within the financial services space, and we are on the lookout for a proactive and motivated payroll officer to join their team.

This is a permanent, full-time position and a fantastic opportunity for you to:

  • Office located in the CBD, newly refurbished (role is based fully onsite)
Reporting into the payroll manager you will:
  • Manage full function monthly payroll processing, compliance, and employee benefits (processing pay for c. 500 employees) using Dayforce.
  • Assist with outsourced payroll for offshore locations
  • Handle superannuation contributions, tax processes, and worker's compensation
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management and support staff share plans
  • Maintain accurate records and support continuous payroll improvement efforts
  • Assist with various payroll tasks, including staff onboarding and offboarding
  • Any ad-hoc tasks as required
What you’ll need
To be successful as a payroll officer you will:
  • Have 3 – 6 years’ experience in full function payroll
  • Dayforce experience OR financial services industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Have meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach to work.
  • Be willing to work 5 days a week within the office (start/finish times have some flex)
