The Company

Our client is an Australian owned, well established Commercial building and Insurance company that have an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to manage a variety of residential projects and liaise with trades, subcontractors and clients. 

The Role:
  • Visit residential properties within region to assess damage 
  • Identify the cause and calculate the repair costs
  • Liaising between customers, clients, suppliers and colleagues to ensure that all repairs are successfully completed within a minimum amount of time
  • Maintaining contact with clients
  • Investigate and respond to any client issues immediately 
  • Assisting with Scope of Works reports
  • Strong customer focus
  • Engaging with Trades until completion of works. 
  • Writing insurance assessments and reports for Customers

To be successful in this role you will need traits such as:

  • 4 years construction experience is essential
  • Trade Qualification OR Tertiary education in Building, Construction, Project Management, Contract Administration or Estimating
  • Insurance experience is desirable but not essential
  • WHS Induction Card (Must)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills & data entry ability (word, excel & outlook)
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organised individual
  • Ability to work autonomously
