The Company

Our client is a reputable Australian, family run company who have been a strong player in the FMCG space for the last 20 years. With 3 sites across Australia, they are now looking for a Sales and Inventory Manager to join their lovely, busy and supportive team at Moorebank.

The role
Reporting into the GM, your duties will include:
  • A diverse role providing a variety of responsibilities comprising of sales, inventory, logistics.
  • Monitor inventory to maintain adequate stock levels 
  • Prepare and monitor sales forecasts.
  • Maintain existing relationships with suppliers, transport companies and clients
  • Identifying untapped new business opportunities to drive the business forward
  • Work alongside the existing sales team to provide assistance, mentorship, knowledge, guidance and relief where needed.
  • Inspiring the sales team to consistently meet sales objectives.
  • Review customer sales drop off reports
  • Location: Moorebank - Parking on site
  • Hours: 5.30am to 3.00pm, Mondays to Fridays. 
What you’ll need

To be successful you will:
  • 2- 3 years in a Team leader/management role, within the food/wholesale industry is highly desired
  • A strong sales background able to generate new business
  • Be a Team Player always willing to support others ( an absolute must!)
  • Comfortable supervising staff
  • Natural ability to build rapport in a friendly manner with clients and employees.
  • Tech savvy: great excel skills, attention to detail.
  • Highly organised abilt to delegate and prioritise tasks
